Lantern Library

A lantern library program that operates in kindergartens, orchards, and public schools in the Arab community. Each year, it distributes books to nearly 200,000 children in educational institutions in the Arab community.

The Library of Congress has selected the Grinspoon Israel Fund. The initiator and operator of the Lantern Library and Pajama Library program in partnership with the Ministry of Education. For the 2020 Honorable Mention in the “Recommended Ways of Working” category. The program has been identified as the world’s largest reading promotion program. The Library of Congress annually recognizes 15 organizations around the world.
