Dear Parents,
Do you know the charming Tamara, who gets excited about visiting guests, and cheers up the whole house? We may smile as we read the book and think of one of our children.
Many children get highly excited by a potential event, such as their birthday, visiting friends, or traveling to a new place, and they may get enthusiastic when observing a natural phenomenon or an object they see for the first time. We notice them actively jumping, continuously talking, making dozens of plans, and finding it hard to wait.
This may be due to the very nature of the curious child, who is eager to engage in new learning experiences, and it may be a stage when the child learns the skill of self-control. This is a skill that many children learn at various intervals and in different ways. Our support for our child during this process is very important, starting from our appreciation of their enthusiasm and their energies, to understanding and helping them in dealing with what excites them in a way that allows them to enjoy, learn and communicate positively with others around him.
