Harold Grinspoon Fund - HGF

About the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF):

In 1993, the Harold Grinspoon Foundation was established with the aim of deepening Jewish education and identity among Jewish communities. In 2005, Harold Grinspoon launched PJ Library® in the US, gifting children’s books with Jewish stories and themes, aimed at sparking family discussions and increasing engagement in Jewish life. Today, PJ Library distributes books in seven languages to more than 650,000 children in over 40 countries every month. Since its inception, HGF has supported dozens of educational and cultural programs across North America and Israel. The Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF) initiated its Israel-based focus of its work in 2002, first with the introduction of Sifriyat Pijama and several years later with the launching of Maktabat al-Fanoos. The Foundation seeks to enhance the lives of all members of society in Israel by cultivating the younger generation’s positive growth through the encouragement of the love of reading.
