How will our child respond when they lack something? Will they strive to obtain it on theirown? Or will they withdraw and let go of their desire? While Cookie, our story’s littleturtle protagonist, doesn’t have a shell like other turtles, she has a wide imagination, self-confidence, determination to solve her problem, and support from her surrounding community. After Cookie discovered her difference from her friends, she felt angry but didn’t despair. Instead, she managed to create a unique shell and set out to explore the vast ocean. All this was possible thanks to cooperation with her friends, the supportive environment around her, and her creativity and persistence.This story highlights our ability to change our lives when we have willpower, perseverance,and support. Our role as parents is first to accept and support our child, strengthen their sense of capability, and push them toward independence in dealing with various problems and obstacles they may face. This way, they grow into a positive, determined, and creative person.
