Dear Parents,

In the story, the travelers use a stone to convince the villagers to cooperate and share their food.
But cooperation is not easy for everyone; there’s the enthusiast, the skeptic, and the opponent. Nevertheless, through the leader’s clever trick and skilful approach, the villagers were persuaded to cooperate one by one until they all contributed to making a delicious soup that was enough for everyone.
This global folk tale highlights the importance of sharing and working together, as even small efforts can lead to beneficial results for everyone. It’s important that we promote the value of cooperation in our children from an early age, as cooperation contributes to developing communication and problem-solving skills, and our child learns how to express their thoughts and feelings and listen to others’ opinions and understand their positions. This story is a golden opportunity to instill the value of cooperation in family life; for example,
we can distribute household tasks and involve our child in responsibilities appropriate to their abilities.
This way, we enhance our child’s sense of belonging to the family, and contribute to building a positive self-perception and in the eyes of their family members.
