We often face various challenges in raising our children, and we need to take steps and make decisions that they may not always understand.
In this story, the mother made a decision not to buy the bag her daughter wanted and gave her a used bag instead. This decision triggered feelings of anger, jealousy, and sadness in the child, but when she let her imagination run wild, things started to change, as she began to reconcile with her bag and also make friends because of it.
There is no doubt that the experience of entering first grade is one of the defining moments in our children’s lives, and it is often accompanied by great emotional and material challenges. When facing these challenges, we must first examine with ourselves the value we wish to instillin our children, make important decisions based on it, and talk with them to clarify the considerations around it.
Most importantly, we must not forget that our child needs us to accompany them confidently and clearly in their life experiences, and that we give them the opportunity to express their different feelings, and give them some time to see the positive aspects of those decisions.
